Getting to The Island Home:

The Island Home is located on Beach Avenue, near the intersection of Beach and Ocean Ave. The inn is set on a hill, overlooking New Harbor and Trim's Pond, with its surrounding rolling meadows.

The Montauk Ferry arrives just around the corner in New Harbor. And we are located less than a mile from the center of Old Harbor, the heart of Block Island's Historic District, where the Point Judith and New London ferries land. A short walk down Beach Avenue leads right to Block Island's glorious beaches, and the lighthouses, nature trails, and scenic bluffs can be easily reached by bike, car, or moped from our central location.

To reach The Island Home from the Old Harbor ferry landing, turn right onto Water Street, and keep going straight, following around the left curve as Water becomes Dodge Street, straight at the stop sign where Dodge becomes Ocean Avenue, to the next stop sign, where The Island Home will be right in front of you.

From the New Harbor docks and marinas, follow Ocean Avenue toward town. Turn right onto Beach Avenue at the stop sign; The Island Home is the second building on the right.
